The purpose of the article is to develop recommendations for mitigating the impact of crisis factors on the work of multidisciplinary health care institutions in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. To achieve this goal, the study solved a number of tasks: to identify the types of health care facilities, the functions of multidisciplinary hospitals and their importance during the COVID-19 pandemic; to identify the internal and external factors of the crisis and analyze their negative impact on the work of health care facilities in the context of the spread of COVID-19; to develop recommendations aimed at overcoming the crisis and offsetting the negative impact of internal and external factors in the event of a new wave of COVID-19.

Methods: the study used general scientific methods of cognition: induction and deduction, analysis and synthesis, association and analogy.

Results. The study found that multidisciplinary hospitals were unprepared for an unexpected increase in COVID-19. Like most other healthcare facilities, they found themselves in a crisis caused by external and internal factors. The negative impact of these factors can be offset by a number of measures. Such measures include: increasing remuneration and ensuring the safety of healthcare workers; increasing public funding for healthcare; increasing funding for medical science; application of new technologies; automation of work processes; standardization of medical services; psychological support for medical personnel; expansion of measures to promote a healthy lifestyle by the state; further reform of the healthcare system of Ukraine. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of applying the obtained results by multidisciplinary hospitals in crisis situations.
