Predictors of functional outcome after acute ischemic stroke in patients with metabolic syndrome

It is well known that the recovery of the functions and effects after suffering a stroke are largely determined by the total weight of the background of the patient, by the initial level of neurological deficit and a set of risk factors within the concept of the metabolic syndrome. In this study predictors of adverse functional outcome of ischemic stroke in patients with metabolic syndrome at the end of the acute period after its occurrence were established.
