Low back pain and ishiasis: a review of diagnostic measures and pharmacotherapy
Summary. Nearly every second person experienced low back pain at least ones in a lifetime but the cure rates, especially in chronic cases, remain low. In the last decade a huge number of researches in this field were conducted, but only very limited number of noninvasive and invasive methods have proven effectiveness. The most recent advances in diagnostic and treatment of this patients with an emphasis on pharmacological methods are presented in the article.
